More and better employment for young people with fewer opportunities

In an ideal world a young person who is working he has friends, resources to fulfil his/her goals, he is continuously learning, has security, self-actualisation, has the opportunity to make his life and enjoy his free time and travel. In Europe lots of people are quite near to this ideal, but there are many others who have to work overtime, without a minimum wage, who do not receive social security, who cannot afford free-time activities, who work in routine jobs without learning opportunities and far from their specialisation and are forced to immigrate for economical reasons. But some young people things can be even worse. Young people is a group very vulnerable to unemployment.
Many questions arise and the working group: More and better employment for young people with fewer opportunities will try to find the answers on the following ones:

- Is it enough to just have a job or is it important to have a quality job?
- Does educational system prepares people well for the labour market?
- How we can prevent emigration for economical reasons and is employment a way to integrate emigrants in the society?
- How we can improve the existing legislation for the insecure jobs?
- What kind of strategies could be developed to involve more young people coming from a disadvantaged background?
- What is the reality of the Lisbon strategy triangle, connection between employment, active citizenship and lifelong learning?
- What is and what could be role of the interships and the entrepreneurships?
