Non-formal education and competence building with young people with fewer opportunities
NFE is playing an important role when it comes to be an active citizen and it takes commitment, investment of time and resources. In this way NFE raises not only personal development, but also the employability. By validating this knowledge and experiences as a second pillar complementary to the formal education it could play an important role also for youth with fewer opportunities. 8 key competences from Lisbon strategy is lately very much influencing o the importance given to the NFE and education in general.
In this connection the main questions of the workshop Non-formal education and competence building with young people with fewer opportunities could be:
- How can we use NFE to bring more chances to youth with fewer opportunities on local, national and international level?
- How can it be possible to make non-formal education more accessible for youth with fewer opportunities?
- How can NFE a tool of integration of youth fewer opportunities?
- How can NFE tackle the topic of school drop outs and be a second chance of personal development for youth with fewer opportunities?
